Siobhan O’Ceallaigh (pronounced O’Kelly) is a leading Consultant Plastic and Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon based in Manchester. 

She works across all areas of aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery and cosmetic body contouring surgery and is particularly renowned for her expertise in reconstruction and complex breast cases.

Siobhan graduated in medicine from University College Dublin in 1996 and did her early training in Ireland before moving to Manchester in 2002 to complete a fellowship at the University of Manchester. 

She completed her doctoral thesis in 2005 and, in 2009, she achieved the prestigious FRCS (Plast) fellowship in plastic surgery. She undertook a National Oncoplastic Breast fellowship at the pioneering Nottingham Breast Institute. She is one of very few plastic surgeons to have dual training in both breast cancer surgery and reconstruction. 

She received her GMC Certificate of Specialist Training in Plastic Surgery in 2012 and worked as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in Breast Reconstruction in Newcastle. Since 2013 she has worked in Manchester, where, along with her clinical work, she is a senior trainer of the next generation of breast reconstruction surgeons. She has been instrumental in the development of the Wythenshawe Unit into one of the largest and most respected centres of microsurgical breast reconstruction in the UK. 

Siobhan is actively involved in clinical research, and a full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS).

She is Board Certified in Cosmetic Breast and Body Contouring Surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
